Introduction

Time To Tiny does not offer paid positive reviews.

If a content creator signs a restrictive agreement and produces biased content, viewers notice immediately. Credibility is everything. Once trust is lost, it does not return—for the creator or the brand.

What brands actually need is an honest, informed, real-world review. Transparent reviews build long-term customer trust, reveal real issues early, and help companies improve their products in a highly competitive off-grid and homestead market.

Our audience expects durability, safety, and real performance—not marketing claims. If you want your product featured on Time To Tiny, it must stand up to real-world use.

Review & Education Fees

Product Review Videos

  • $1,000 – Standard product review
    (Most 12V and 48V batteries, inverters, charge controllers, and related equipment)

  • $2,500 – Advanced or complex product reviews
    (Multi-battery systems, high-voltage equipment, hybrid or all-in-one inverter systems, or large off-grid setups)

Payment Methods

  • Bank wire (preferred; lowest fees) (email us)

  • Stripe or PayPal (processing fees are the responsibility of the company)

  • Invoices available upon request

No testing or filming begins until payment is received and the product is delivered.

What to Expect From a Review

  • Testing begins only after payment and product arrival

  • Products are evaluated for:

    • Build quality and component selection

    • Safety and reliability

    • Documentation and user experience

    • Real-world off-grid and homestead performance

    • Market value compared to competing products

  • The goal is to find problems, not avoid them

  • If multiple major issues are discovered:

    • Testing may end early

    • No refund will be issued

    • The video will still be published

    • Follow-up videos require additional fees

  • If a product performs well:

    • Tests are repeated and verified

    • Extended or long-term testing may be conducted

    • Follow-up content may be published if issues appear later

  • If a questionable issue arises, the company will be contacted for clarification

    • If an issue is described as a “feature,” that explanation will be shared with viewers

  • Tear-downs may be required, especially for batteries and internal components

  • Time To Tiny does not sign sponsorship contracts, NDAs, or exclusivity agreements
    We are not employees or brand representatives.

  • Testing uses calibrated equipment and verification methods
    Results are re-tested and cross-checked when necessary.

  • Opinions on usability, software, design, and aesthetics will be shared
    These opinions are subjective and clearly presented as such.

  • If a product performs poorly:

    • Competing products may be linked in the video description

    • Affiliate recommendations may be included

Time To Tiny is not responsible for loss of revenue, reputational harm, or other damages resulting from an honest review.

All disputes will be resolved through arbitration.

What Is Guaranteed

  • Product name listed in the video title

  • Your product is the primary focus of the video

  • Basic feature overview at the beginning of the video
    (Provide a feature list prior to filming)

Affiliate Program Requirements

  • The reviewed product must be part of an affiliate program

  • If multiple distributors exist, Time To Tiny will choose based on audience trust and experience

Typical Commission Ranges

  • Batteries: 6–15%

  • Inverters: 8–12%

  • Solar Panels: 2–5%

  • Racking Systems: 10%

  • Tools & Accessories: 10%

Affiliate payouts should be monthly.
High-volume programs should use bank wire to avoid processing fees.

If a distributor receives repeated complaints from viewers, affiliate links will be changed.

Product Disposal

Products will not be returned.

Due to shipping and disposal costs, reviewed items are donated to:

  • Off-grid builders

  • Homestead community members

  • Educational or project use

Pickup is required. No shipping is provided.

Timeframe

Each review is different. Some products require a single day of testing, while others take weeks or months.

If:

  • Testing cannot be completed, or

  • A review is not published

A 100% refund will be issued.

If a review exceeds 60 days due to a major unresolved issue, a full refund will be provided.

Exceptions

  • If the audience repeatedly requests a product review, Time To Tiny may purchase and review the product independently

  • If issues are discovered after a successful review, follow-up content will be published

  • Extremely low-cost or suspicious products may be purchased and reviewed for educational and safety awareness purposes
